Nutrition
We take nutrition one step beyond, one step beyond diet culture and “the next big thing”.
Find freedom with food by learning how to fully nourish your body and your physiology, without having to go down the rabbit hole of cutting out foods that you love or that our body can blossom on.
It is time to strip away some of the misconceptions that we are being told by the health and wellness world. We have become so obsessed with removing foods (gluten, dairy, sugar, carbs…) that we are forgetting what raw materials our body actually needs to flourish. It is not about restricting, it is all about gifting our body with nourishment day in and day out.
You will be given 10 weeks of nutritional education that will leave you in awe of your body, with understanding on how your hormones and physiology works, heal your relationship with food and empower you to make choices that will take you from surviving to thriving.
During the course, you will be delivered sessions diving deep into:
- Female hormones, digestion, detoxification and how it is all connected.
- Markers of health, optimization of metabolism down to the cell, and why it is the backbone of our health.
- Intuitive eating, intentional nourishment, cravings, and restrictive diets.
- Maximization, balance and enhancement of nutrients such as macronutrients, minerals, vitamins and water.
- Stress, sleep and all in between.
- Drivers of inflammation, diabetes and other common health issues.
- And even why sugar is NOT our enemy! 😊
You will be given tonnes of valuable and tangible tools and tricks that will guide you into better habits and self-care. But more importantly you will finally find ways to break free from the cycles of destructive behaviour, restore balance in your body, and finally intentionally nourish yourself into harmony and health.
Fitness
Movement is medicine! Through movement we improve our balance and our coordination. We strengthen our muscles, our bones become more dense and durable, increasing our active mobility meaning that as we age we are less prone to injury. Then there are the positive effects exercise has on our mental health through boosting the release of endorphins and improving our self esteem.
Whatever your level of experience, age or condition, within this program there is a movement and training style accessible to you. All workouts can be performed at home with little to no equipment.
Low Impact - Muscle Building:
Resistance training focusing on form, technique and mind muscle connection. Utilizing weights, bands, accessories and bodyweight. These workouts will build strength and lean muscle.
High Intensity - Fat Burning:
Full body circuits, cardio intervals and higher intensity training designed to get your heart rate pumping, your sweat dripping all while building endurance and burning fat.
Hypnotherapy
Did you know that your subconscious mind controls between 90-95% of your brain activity and decision making process?
The subconscious mind is like a clever computer that stores all the memories, habits and behaviours that we have cultivated throughout our life time. It allows our body to react more efficiently without our conscious mind having to step in, which is extremely useful, when it comes to breathing for example. However when it comes to trying to change our negative thought patterns or eating habits, it's not so useful, and in fact it can make creating change in our lives quite difficult.
This program uses the power of hypnotherapy to reprogram the subconscious mind to change your relationship with food, remove negative behavioural patterns, habits and belief systems. We will reframe memories and release trauma that has negatively shaped the way you see yourself, your relationship with food and your relationship with your body.
This means that you are no longer working with 10% of your brain power, your subconscious is on your side. You have found your superpower!
Using the power of suggestive hypnotherapy we will reprogram your neural- pathways to a new way of thinking, feeling and behaving. One which supports you in your journey to finding freedom in your body and clarity in your mind.
Yoga
Yoga is an excellent tool to develop the connection between your body and mind, ultimately improving self image and acceptance of your body. Lowering stress levels and improving your physical fitness through asana and transformational breath work practices.
Each of the classes will be linked to the theme of the hypnotherapy session of that week, working on the body both physically and energetically. In the philosophy of yoga it is thought that we have an energetic body as well as a physical body. That blockages in our energy body (subtle body) can cause physical symptoms. For example binge eating is associated with the Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakra, lack of motivation is linked to the Solar Plexus.
Throughout the 10 weeks we will be working on digestion, detox practices, elevating anxiety, reducing stress and improving breathing capacity. As well improving your range of movement, active mobility and building core strength.
Each class is intelligently designed with knowledge of physical and subtle anatomy. The goal of these sessions will be to drive more awareness and presence into your body, to connect you with your intuition and empower you to love yourself and your body.
